CHRIS ‘ZEKE’ HAND used to run Zeke’s Gallery, and anti-establishment art gallery dedicated to “First Solo Shows,’ in Montreal for almost 10 years. Along the way it morphed into an multi-disciplinary cultural space that became very much part of the establishment. As a consequence Zeke closed it. Right now he volunteers on CKUT, a community radio station in Montreal where he produces and hosts shows that talk about contemporary art, dance and hamburgers. He is also trying to start a Modular Multi-Platform Content Production and Distribution Co. that reacquaints people with a sense of place.
